The film ostrawa is based on footage which has been shot during a travel at the Polish-Czech border at the turn of the year 1999/2000. The film abstracts these visual and acoustic material to it's fundamental aspects of movement and change. It celebrates the interpenetration of the decaying traces of a formerly highly industrialized civilization and a propagating nature.
